Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial will miss out on internationals against the Netherlands and Uruguay due to injury.
Pogba, a World Cup winner over the summer, missed the Manchester derby after picking up a knock in training on Friday.
Martial, on the other hand, started against Pep Guardiola’s side, scoring a penalty, and did not show any visible signs of discomfort.
But it was confirmed on Monday that the pair would not feature under Didier Deschamps over the next ten days.

To see Martial miss out on such a golden opportunity like this is deeply difficult to accept. The Frenchman is scintillating form, scoring six goals in five straight Premier League games, and would have no doubt brought that menace to the international stage.
On top of menace, Martial is also crucially demonstrating a sense of hard discipline in his game, running himself to the ground for Mourinho, a manager he supposedly had fallen out with. The 55-year-old has spoken of how pleased he is with Martial’s attitude on several occasions in recent weeks.
Deschamps, whose temperament and selection style aligns closely with the Portuguese, would certainly express similar approval upon seeing Martial. He will have to keep waiting for his chance.
