Manchester United fans couldn’t hide their anger with their team’s disappointing performance vs Crystal Palace.
Perhaps only Victor Lindelof can hold his head high after the dire goalless draw but it simply wasn’t enough from the rest of his teammates.
United are falling shockingly behind in terms of a title tilt but it’s also beginning to look as though a top four spot might not even be up for grabs.
Jose Mourinho has come in for plenty of criticism this season and although there was a short period of decent play, the negativity will come back with matches such as the one against Palace.
The halfway point to the season is close to arriving and if at that point the Red Devils are still nowhere close to the Champions League spots then the Portuguese will likely lose his job.
MUFC 0 Crystal Palace 0. Dire. Fourth time MUFC have failed to score at home in nine games this season. Fans booed at the end. MUFC's worst start to a season in 28 years.

What world leading organisation allows a member of senior management to openly criticise staff and develop/contribute to a constant flow of negativity? Writing on the wall before pre season started at #MUFC. A win changes very little I’m afraid. Top four? You’re having a laugh.

Everything about United is just such a mess. Manager, players, board, owners. Just going downhill from season to season. #mufc

Convinced that this is all United players do in training #MUFC pic.twitter.com/uAWIfB12E3

So many attacking players on the pitch and we can’t even score at Old Trafford against Crystal Palace. Absolute joke! #MUFC

Supporters have been patient for large chunks of the season but time is seriously running out for their team to put points on the board.
A consistent winning run is needed to get back to where they belong but unfortunately Manchester United don’t seem capable of pulling off such a thing.
Mourinho’s era appears to be at an end in a similar manner in which David Moyes and Louis van Gaal suffered.
