Manchester United star Anthony Martial is set to be tempted to stay at the club with a bumper new contract on the table.
The Frenchman has been in fine form in recent weeks and that hasn’t gone unnoticed by the board or even Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese manager even publicly praised the winger and called on the United hierarchy to tie him down as soon as possible.
Martial hasn’t hidden his affection for the club either but negotiations have been going on for a while with no end in sight.
Supporters have grown increasingly worried they may lose the youngster for little to nothing with other top European clubs keeping a close eye on him.
According to the Daily Mail, Anthony is currently on £70k a week and the Red Devils are happy to double his wages but no deal has been agreed officially just yet.
If that isn’t enough to seal the deal then there can’t be much hope anything else would work to keep the former AS Monaco man on board.
Jose has even shown Martial that so long as his form remains at a consistently high level then he won’t be dropped for their major winter signing Alexis Sanchez.
