Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Jesse Lingard and Alexis Sanchez have made a full return to fitness ahead of Manchester United’s visit to AFC Bournemouth this weekend.
Lingard has not started a game for Man United since September, while Sanchez’s last full appearance came during a pitiful 0-0 draw with Valencia during which he was heavily criticised.
The former came on for the latter stages of United’s 2-1 win over Everton but Mourinho prior to the game had stressed neither were 100 per cent.
But they are, according to Mourinho, in line to start against Eddie Howe’s side at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.
Mourinho: “Dalot and Fellaini are still out. The only one that went one step behind was Antonio Valencia with some problem in his knee. But Lingard and Alexis, now i can say – ready.” #mufc [MUTV]

Antonio Valencia, who also has not appeared since early October, will miss out due to a lack of fitness following a period away due to problems with his knee and mouth, which required surgery.
Neither Diogo Dalot nor Marouane Fellaini have appeared since picking up injuries over the international break and do not look set to make a return to first team action any time soon. Mourinho would have been deeply frustrated to see them return from international duty injured – especially Dalot, who had made such a promising start in games against Young Boys and Derby County.
