Chelsea are facing fresh allegations in their alleged illegal transfers, this time in their deal for Danish defender Andreas Christensen.
The Blue signed the defender back in 2012, but, as reported by the Telegraph, documents obtained by Football Leaks show that Chelsea employed Sten Christensen as a scout on the same day that the Blues signed his son from Brondby.
Activities like this are prohibited, with both Liverpool and Everton being fined and banned from signing youth players because of the rules around it.
Sten Christensen, who is now the agent of his son, told Danish newspaper Politiken:
It sounds like a story you have got from someone in Ukraine or something like that. I have no comment whatsoever. You’ll have to ask Chelsea about that. That is not something I want to discuss. That’s the way it is. If you want to use information hacked from Chelsea then go ahead.
The documents leaked by Football Leaks also suggest that Manchester City were also willing to break rules to sign Christensen, with City willing to pay over £230,000 to the player’s family.
