Manchester United fought back from a humiliating start against Newcastle United to produce an enthralling and hugely important comeback 3-2 win on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts, going into the affair without a win in four games, conceded twice in the opening 10 minutes in a half which painfully underlined the shortcomings in this Jose Mourinho team.

But Juan Mata‘s free-kick with 20 minutes left reignited the side’s confidence and, buoyed by a noisy Old Trafford crowd, rampaged forward to claim a dramatic win through Anthony Martial and a late winner for Alexis Sanchez.
