Rio Ferdinand has expressed his delight at the way Manchester United responded to a poor first half against Chelsea.
Jose Mourinho’s men struggled to build anything going forward in the first period, with Romelu Lukaku managing just nine touches all half.
But it was a completely different Man United which appeared after the break, attacking with ambition and going ahead through two wonderful Anthony Martial goals, only for Ross Barkley to score a late, late equaliser to deprive the visitors of a memorable win.
Taking to social media after the game, Ferdinand remarked how United, above anything, displayed their unwavering spirit in the second half.

Those last 20 minutes against Newcastle United and that second half at Stamford Bridge should once and for all kill off the idea that Mourinho has somehow lost the dressing room at Old Trafford.
There remain several stylistic and tactical problems in this team but the desire of each player to give everything on the pitch is certainly there.
Mourinho’s task for this season will be to devise a way he can harness the same level of panache and pace going forward which was seen at Stamford Bridge. This result, despite dropping two points, was a big step in the right direction.
