Arsenal were looking to continue their wonderful winning run but it’s always difficult to go to Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace are tough opponents at home and they showed that in the first half, taking a lead via a Luka Milivojevic penalty just before the break.

But as they have on so many occasions this season, Arsenal responded after half-time. This time, Granit Xhaka grabbed the goal when he curled a wonderful free-kick into the top corner from a tight angle.

The Gunners went ahead just ten minutes later when Alexandre Lacazette flicked the ball on for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score at the back post.

Things were going well but it wasn’t to be for the Gunners as Palace hit back and grabbed another goal via the penalty spot. This time, it was Granit Xhaka who brought down his man as Milivojevic stepped up again to score.
