Chelsea star Eden Hazard is waiting for a signal from Real Madrid before committing his future to the Blues, the Telegraph reports.
Hazard said at the weekend that he is undecided on whether to try and force through a move to the La Liga giants or commit his future to Chelsea by signing a new contract.
The Belgian international is believed to be delaying contract talks with the London outfit whilst he waits to see if Real promise him that they will make a push to sign him at the end of the season.
At the end of this season, Hazard will have just one year remaining on his current deal at Stamford Bridge.
Real did not make an offer for the Belgian this summer but Hazard is prepared to wait until the New Year for assurance from the Spanish side that they will launch a bid for him next summer.
If no such assurance comes then it is believed he will re-open talks over a new deal with Chelsea.
Hazard is only interested in playing for Chelsea or Real at this stage in his career, with the former prepared to better their last offer of £300,000-a-week in order to convince the 27-year-old to sign a new deal.
