Anthony Martial once again dazzled supporters with an excellent attacking display during Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Everton in the Premier League.
The Frenchman, who scored twice at Stamford Bridge last weekend, terrorised right-back Seamus Coleman in the first half with his direct running, winning a penalty which Pogba duly converted.
He provided the decisive strike moments after the break, curling home a splendid effort from outside the box in a fashion not too dissimilar from his second goal at Stamford Bridge.
Martial’s stats from the game shed light on just how fundamental he was to grabbing an important three points for United.

On display at Old Trafford today was not just Martial playing with rhythm and confidence. What we saw, above anything, was talent. Genuine, crystal clear talent.
Martial is a player loved by supporters because his raw qualities are so exciting, and against Everton they were on show for all to see. He was deadly out wide, moving one way and then the other as Seamus Coleman and Idrissa Gueye flapped at the air trying to get hold of him.
His finishing, once again, was superb. The confidence running through his veins was clear to see in the way he perfectly arced that shot past Jordan Pickford.
But perhaps it was his overall application – getting back relentlessly and helping to start passing moves from inside his own half at times – which really stood out. This was a performance which would have made supporters and Jose Mourinho equally happy.
