Barcelona and Manchester United have both reporteldy joined Chelsea in expressing an interest in Roma’s transfer guru Monchi.
According to reports in Italy, both clubs are keeping tabs on his situation, with the Roma sporting director considering his long-term future at the club.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim that both United and Barcelona are interested in the former Sevilla man.
Monchi only joined the Italians back in 2017, but could already be on the move once again.
Chelsea have also reportedly earmarked him as a potential candidate to fill the void left by Michael Emanalo.
Monchi, along with the likes of Michael Ballack and Dan Ashworth have all reporteldy been considered for the role of technical director.
The Blues are yet to replace Emanalo and his departure played a big role in Antonio Conte’s struggles at Stamford Bridge last season.
Monchi has a proven record of recruiting promising young players and has often shown his ability to manoeuvre well in the transfer market.
