Chelsea boss delivers injury update on star midfielder

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has delivered an injury update on midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

Speaking after the win over Cardiff on Saturday, Sarri said this.

Eden Hazard scored a hat-trick and Willian added a fourth as Chelsea cruised to victory at Stamford Bridge.

However, Kovacic was forced off with a knock, which is believed to have been a dead leg.

Sarri has allayed any fears that it will keep him out for any considerable amount of his time, confirming that it is nothing serious.

The Chelsea head coach has also heaped praise on Eden Hazard following his exceptional display.
