Tottenham Hotspur will consider offers for Manchester United target Toby Alderweireld as the transfer deadline draws nearer.
Man United approached Spurs earlier in the window for Alderweireld but balked at the club’s demand of around £60m for his services.
But Mourinho, who views Alderweireld as his primary target in this window, nonetheless expects the club to secure the Belgian’s signature.
And according to Sky Sports‘ Paul Gilmour, Spurs will consider any offers made for Alderweireld with just under a week left of the transfer window for English clubs.
We understand #thfc will consider offers for Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Moussa Dembele should they materialise in this window. Transfer centre coming up at 5pm on @SkySportsNews & across digital platforms

Alderweireld’s name has never been too far away from United transfer news – even before this summer – but there has been little to suggest Spurs are willing to part way with the Belgium international so far.
Which is strange, because Mauricio Pochettino has refused to play him ever since he failed to reach an agreement with Spurs over his wages in a new contract. Moreover, should no new deal be reached, he can leave the club for just £25m next summer.
Surely one final offer from United as the minutes tick down in this window would be enough to make Daniel Levy finally budge. Mourinho will consider this transfer window a failure if Ed Woodward cannot make it happen.
