With Antonio Conte expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, the club will be looking for a new boss. Roman Abramovich wants to acts quickly this summer so the new man can bring in the transfers required.
Napoli boss Maurizio is rumoured to be the man that Chelsea want to replace Antonio Conte at the helm.
The 59-year-old Sarri seems to be the first choice for Russian owner Roman Abramovich who wants to bring him in after Conte leaves his post. It is reported that Sarri wants to test himself out of the Serie A.
Chelsea may have some competition for the Napoli man with Borussia Dortmund also being interested in the Italian. Dortmund are looking to get in one of Europe’s best coaches to get them competing with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and with the giants of Europe in the Champions League.
For either Chelsea or Dortmund to get Sarri away from Napoli they would have to contend with the €8m payout clause he has in his contract at the club. It is reported that Sarri is interested in the prospect of the Dortmund job but he wants to have a conversation with Napoli chairman De Laurentiis, before looking elsewhere.
