Manchester United have reportedly bid on Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng as they step up their interest ahead of the transfer window slamming shut.
All incoming transfers will end this Thursday at 5pm but Premier League clubs can still continue to sell their players as the rest of Europe’s windows are still open.
United have less than 48 hours to sign whoever they can to bring their squad up to scratch for the upcoming season.

When asked about the possibility of the German being one of those players the Portuguese manager stated his CEO has known about his wanted transfers for months, placing the pressure firmly on Ed Woodward.
