Manchester United fans are absolutely furious with the club’s hierarchy following the end of the summer transfer window.
The window for signing new players slammed shut on Thursday at 5pm with Jose Mourinho failing to bring in any additional players.
United have signed Fred, Lee Grant and Diogo Dalot while having let go of Daley Blind alongside with Michael Carrick‘s retirement.
The Brazilian is the only major signing of the window much to the disappointment of supporters who felt the club could’ve done more.
Vice-executive chairman Ed Woodward is facing the majority of the criticism since he’s in charge of getting deals done.
Just remember folks, Ed Woodward is an investment banker, so everything he does at #MUFC is about ROI to his investors, he doesn’t care about the football. Vent your anger at him and not José!!

Diego Godin story today the most embarrassing for Man United as they were used (yet again) by an agent trying to get his player a new contract.
Ed Woodward has fallen for this trick time and again, but no surprise. He is horribly out of his depth in this job #MUFC pic.twitter.com/4VOvngciGK

You know things are bad when Manchester United's best signing of the transfer window was Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.

#mufc topped the football club charts for global revenue at a huge €676.3m revenue — yet here we are, refusing to pay to “high fees” to bring in players to get us back to the top. Where is that money going and why is it not being invested? We deserve answers.

It's quite clear that the Manchester United board, Ed Woodward and the Glazers should receive a vote of No Confidence from the fans. Their lack of ambition and sole aim to finish in the top 4, is a betrayal of the club's badge and the supporters faith and money. #MUFC

Others blame the club’s owners, the Glazer family, due to their apparent refusal to financially back their manager.
Mourinho had insisted Woodward was doing all he can which seemed to suggest the root of the problem are the owners.
Regardless of who’s to blame, the Portuguese boss must now work with the players he’s got to achieve a respectable season.
The problem is that the squad are unlikely to be capable of winning the Premier League title and may have to settle once again for a Champions League spot with the lack of investment.
