Alisson Becker has made a switch to Chelsea his ‘top priority’, according to Sport Witness.
The Brazilian shot-stopper has been his nation’s number one goalkeeper at the World Cup, beating out Manchester City star Ederson to secure the job.
Aged 25, rumours about the AS Roma goalkeeper’s future in the Italian capital had suggested he might be heading elsewhere in the summer, and it seems now as though he has settled on a preferred destination.

Liverpool and Real Madrid had been interested in acquiring the services of the Internacional youth-product, but the West London club have somewhat surprisingly taken pole position in the race to land Alisson’s signature.
With Alisson allegedly happy with the wages offered by Chelsea, the attention will turn to whether the club can agree a deal with the Champions League semi-finalists. Il Tempo claim a bid of €73 million including add-ons has reportedly been reportedly been prepared by Chelsea, although negotiations are not expected to be completed before the end of the World Cup.
Despite not having the attraction of Champions League football next year, the Blues may find the task of replacing Thibaut Courtois (himself expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer) easier than perhaps first thought.
Making 64 appearances in two years at Roma, Alisson has just received his thirtieth Brazil cap.
