Napoli midfielder Jorginho has reportedly promised to join Chelsea this summer, with the Blues set to beat Manchester City to his signature.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Napoli player will be included as part of the deal to take Maurizio Sarri to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Chelsea are reportedly ready to pay a combined €65 million, with €8 million of that being made up through bonuses to land Jorginho and Sarri.
Both Chelsea and Manchester City have been linked with a move for Jorginho this summer, but Pep Guardiola’s men were looking set to sign the player.
The Italian international played a key role in Sarri’s Napoli side and Guardiola was said to be a fan.
An announcement is believed to be close, with reports suggesting Wednesday could be the decisive day.
The deal to bring Sarri to Stamford Bridge has been delayed since the end of the season with Chelsea locked in negotiations with Napoli.
