Chelsea and Juventus are said to be confident about reaching a deal for Gonzalo Higuain.
Calciomercato reports that while the two clubs are still apart in their evaluation of the striker, there is an understanding between both parties that a deal is a realistic this summer.
Higuain has accepted Juventus’ decision to sell the player following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

Juventus are hoping to recoup €65 million for the player, but the report claims that Chelsea have offered less than the asking price during the opening discussions.
The move is also dependent on the future of Alvaro Morata, with the Spaniard’s future in London looking bleak.
After struggling during his first season at Chelsea, he is being heavily linked with a return back to Italy.
Milan are believed to be interested in a deal to bring the player to the San Siro. Inter, Juventus and Napoli have also been mentioned as possible destinations.
