Derby County are eyeing up a swoop for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham this summer.
According to The Telegraph, via Bristol Post, Derby manager Frank Lampard is keen to bring Abraham in ahead of next season.
The report claims that Lampard is hoping to exploit his connections to Chelsea in order to seal a deal for the highly-rated striker.
Abraham struggled at times for Swansea last season, scoring eight goals in all competitions – with five in the Premier League as the Welsh side were relegated.
However, Abraham netted 23 Championship goals in the 2016/17 season for Bristol City on loan.
Derby are looking to replace Matej Vydra, who looks set to join Championship rivals Leeds in a deal worth £11m.
Chelsea are waiting until Maurizio Sarri is officially the club’s new manager before sanctioning any transfers, leaving Abraham in limbo for the time being.
