Chelsea will face competition from Bayern Munich in their pursuit of Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain, according to recent reports.
It’s claimed by Spanish news outlet Fichajes, as cited in a report from Calciomercato, that Bayern have set their sights on Higuain ahead of a summer move.
The Argentina international has been heavily linked with a move away from Juventus following the club’s £99.2 million signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

Chelsea are believed to be keen on signing Higuain from Juventus this summer, as Maurizio Sarri looks to reunite with the former Napoli attacker at his new club.
However, it seems the Blues will face stiff competition from elsewhere, as Bayern reportedly express an interest in landing the striker to bolster their attacking reinforcements.
Robert Lewandowski is being heavily linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena this summer and if the Polish forward is to depart, it’s stated that Higuain will be Bayern’s first choice target.
