Juventus’ interest in re-signing Chelsea star Alvaro Morata has continued to be pushed by the Italian media in recent days.
The Serie A club are reportedly determined to land the Spanish international this summer as they aim to bolster their attacking options, with an eighth consecutive Scudetto their target for next season.
However, it seems Juve know that the acquisition of Morata will be a difficult task to achieve. Therefore, according to fresh claims from Italy, they will consider using Gonzalo Higuain in their attempts to sign the player.
Higuain has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea this summer and it seems Juventus may be willing to manipulate the Blues’ interest in their wishes to recruit Morata.
Although a straight swap deal is unlikely given the difference in both age and quality between the two players, it seems Juventus could be willing to go to extreme measures to bring Morata back to Italy this summer, with Higuain’s future up in the air.
