Sheffield United are hoping to complete a double deal for Chelsea pair Jamal Blackman and Kasey Palmer.
The Yorkshire Post claim that United are hoping to land Blackman on a permanent deal after he impressed on loan last season.
Blackman finally looks set to secure a move away from Chelsea as he looks for regular first-team football.
The goalkeeper came through the ranks at Stamford Bridge but has never made a senior appearance during his time at the club.
Palmer spent the end of last season on loan at Derby County, who narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League.
A move to Sheffield United would be Palmer’s third loan spell in the Championship, but injuries have seen the midfielder struggle for regular minutes of late.
Palmer remains highly thought of at Chelsea, but there is an acceptance that he needs to be playing regularly to get his development back on track following his impressive loan stint at Huddersfield during their promotion campaign.
