Chelsea could recall Charly Musonda from his loan spell with Celtic this summer after the Belgian’s inability to break into the Hoops’ side.
As reported by the Daily Record, the Scottish champions could cut the Belgian’s loan deal short after the winger has failed to break into the Celtic squad.
They may well do. There is an agreement in place which is fairly relaxed. He’s probably not played as much as he would have liked, but there are obviously reasons for that. I’ll always bring players to develop them and, in the main, it’s normally what happens when they are in my environment.
Musonda joined Celtic on loan in January on an 18-month deal that would run through until the end of next season.
Chelsea are said to be unhappy with the amount of game time the Belgian has received since joining the club, starting just three games.

Musonda is highly thought of at Stamford Bridge and the loan deal was set up to give the attacker regular first-team football after failing to secure a move in the previous summer window.
Antonio Conte had been unable to offer the player regular first-team football at Stamford Bridge.
With a new manager expected to join Chelsea this summer, Musonda may look to return to his parent club and make a claim for the first-team squad.
