Arsenal’s search for a new manager has reportedly moved away from Luis Enrique with the Arsenal board apparently unimpressed with the Spaniard (via The Times).
It’s the big debate of the day amongst Arsenal fans as the club looks to appoint the right new manager.
The discussion over who should replace Arsene Wenger is dominating talk around the club today and it seems that there has been some movement on that front.
Reports suggest that the club has moved on from the man who is reportedly a frontrunner for the position, Luis Enrique.
The former FC Barcelona boss is apparently a polarising figure amongst the players he has managed and the clubs he has worked for.
His track record is obviously impressive after he won the treble with FC Barcelona in his first season at the club back in 2014-15.
Luis Enrique is reportedly keen on the role but has also been linked with a move to Chelsea amidst the doubts over Antonio Conte. The Spaniard is clearly a talented manager and would represent a hugely different managerial style to Arsene Wenger. It’s unclear whether or not that is a good thing.
