Manchester United fans were far from pleased with Paul Pogba’s poor performance vs West Brom on the back of his incredible display vs Manchester City.
The Frenchman singlehandedly dragged his team back into the match vs their fierce rivals as he managed to score a brace to even the tie 2-2.
Chris Smalling eventually scored the winner but had it not been for Pogba’s quick fire brace, United may not have even been involved with the match.
The former Juventus man though struggled to make an impact against the Baggies and was even substituted with still half an hour to go to the match.
Some fans insisted the substitution was made as Paul was on a yellow card but many feel his performance is what saw him come off the pitch.
Pogba put out of his misery. Atrocious performance. Played well for 30 minutes last week but doesn’t look comfortable at all in the side/position. Ongoing problem for Mou and #MUFC.

I love the fact that Jose is brave enough to take Pogba off when not playing well and strong enough to stand his ground against fans yapping on about Martial all the time. Let the guy do his job.

Jose Mourinho took off Paul Pogba to bring on Anthony Martial, perhaps in the hopes of adding more attacking impetus to his side as they struggled to break down West Brom.
The midfielder was a little wasteful but was the second midfielder to be taken off with Ander Herrera also taken off at half time in favour of Jesse Lingard.
Mourinho clearly tried to do all he could to grab a result as he even took off Ashley Young to bring on Marcus Rashford.
Manchester United were simply not up to the task against the Baggies and their bright start to the match wasn’t an indicator of what was to come.
Pogba though will certainly be disappointed to be taken off following his heroics against City but Jose would arguably be more disappointed given his call for more consistency to be shown by the player.
