Chelsea line up summer swoop for Brazilian star

Chelsea have joined Manchester City in the race to sign Eder Militao from Sao Paulo, according to a report from Darren Lewis of The Mirror.

The 20-year-old is one of the most sought after young players in world football, with the likes of Manchester United Porto and Borussia Dortmund also keeping a close eye on him.

Militao’s versatility will be a huge benefit to whichever club he chooses to join, as he is comfortable playing at right back, centre back and centre midfield.

Sao Paulo are apparently looking for bids of around £20m before they even consider selling one of their prized assets, and with so much interest in the Brazilian, it looks very likely that somebody will be willing to splash the cash to get him.

Chelsea will be looking to revamp their squad after a disappointing season and it looks like Eder Militao will be one of the players on their list of targets.
