Chelsea travel to Turf Moor on Thursday to face Burnley and go into the game off a 3-2 win over Southampton.
Goals from Olivier Giroud (2) and Eden Hazard where enough for Antonio Conte’s side to take all three points in a game where they were two goals down.

Burnley will also go into this game off a win after they defeated Leicester 2-1 at the weekend, with goals from Kevin Long and Chris Wood sealing all three points for them as they stake their claim for a Europa League spot.
Conte’s side currently sit in fifth place in the league, eight points behind the final Champions League spot and a win on Thursday night will take them a step closer in returning to the top four.
The Blues will be hoping for results to go their as they look to go into the game with full confidence.
Sean Dyche’s men have had an excellent season so far and currently sit in seventh place, two points behind Arsenal (54) in sixth.
The Clarets have been victorious in each of their last five games and a win against Chelsea will extend their unbeaten run, lifting them up to sixth place.
Ahead of the game, we have picked out some key battles that may decide the result of the tie.
Gary Cahill vs Chris Wood

Chris Wood is in fine form at the moment scoring five goals in the last five games. Wood is the club’s top scorer so far with 10 goals and he will be looking to add to his tally.
Gary Cahill looks to be the man that will be tasked with marking Chris Wood. Cahill is strong in both aerial battles and 50/50 battles, so this encounter will be one to look out for.
Antonio Rudiger vs Ashley Barnes
Ashley Barnes is Burnley’s other top scorer, netting in eight goals so far this season. Like Chris Wood, Barnes is also in fine form scoring in three of the last five. He will be a threat in the box, particularly at set piece plays and getting on the end of the occasional loose ball.
Antonio Rudiger looks to be the man that will match up with Barnes. Rudiger is a quick central defender and will always be on hand to make that last-ditch tackle where it matters. His eagerness to put himself in challenges where no one else would consider competing for, could be the factor that may win his side all three points.
Eden Hazard vs Matt Lowton
Eden Hazard will likely start on his favoured left side of the attack. He will be Chelsea’s main catalyst in attack and his speed, companied by his skill, may prove to be too much for the Burnley full back to handle.

He also tends to drift inside, attracting opposition players to follow. This will create openings for Chelsea wing backs to join in on the attack and also, create a lot of space to attack. Hazard is a constant goal threat, so Burnley will have to be alert at all times.
Olivier Giroud vs James Tarkowski

Fresh from his two goals at the weekend, Olivier Giroud will look to continue his form to extend his Chelsea goal tally. Giroud is a threat from aerial battles, particularly set plays.
He will also hold the ball and look to play the into the wide areas. His presence upfront will also invite players to double up when defending against him and this will create openings for him to bring in other players and attack the Burnley goal.
