Chelsea and Manchester City have both failed in a bid to sign Giorgio Chiellini from Juventus this summer.
Calciomercato report that the Premier League duo wanted to sign the player on a free transfer with his contract expiring, but he has now agreed on a deal to stay at Juventus.
The defender is expected to put pen to paper on a new deal with Juventus until 2020 with the aim of finishing his career with the Turin club.
Chiellini has long been linked with a move away from the Old Lady but the rumours have never amounted to anything.
Despite turning 33 in August, Chiellini remains one of the most respected defenders in the game.
The Italian defender joined Juventus from Livorno in 2005 and has become symbolic with the Old Lady.
During his time at the club, he has won six Serie A titles, three Coppa Italia trophies and three Supercoppa Italiana titles.
