Slaviša Jokanović is a surprise contender on Chelsea’s shortlist to take over as manager once Antonio Conte departs the club, according to MailOnline.
The Fulham boss has enjoyed a successful season with the Cottagers, currently sitting in 4th place in the Championship table having not lost in 14 league games.
While former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is expected to continue as the overwhelming favourite for the position this summer, Jokanović is said to have impressed the club he made 39 league appearances for in the early 2000s.

The 49-year old Serbian played for the Blues between 2000 and 2002, and is currently looking on track to return to the Premier League with his current club, having been with the Craven Cottage outfit since 2015.
Jokanović is seen as someone who can command the dressing room, as well as implement an attacking style on his squad.
The major counter argument is that Jokanović has never managed in the Premier League, despite leading Watford to promotion in the 2014/15 season. Due to a contract stand-off, he left the club before the season started.
After that, Jokanović led Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv to the group stage of the Champions League for the first time in 11 years before taking over at Fulham.
