Blow for Chelsea as potential Hazard replacement considers offer from Bayern

Chelsea and Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Gareth Bale, who is reportedly considering an offer from German champions Bayern Munich.

Don Balon claim that the Bundesliga champions are interested in signing the player, who looks set to leave Real Madrid this summer.

Doubts have been cast over Bale’s future in recent months with the Welshman falling out of favour under Zinedine Zidane.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for the player.

A move to Chelsea had been touted as the most likely option with Eden Hazard likely to move in the opposite direction.

Both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery are reaching the end of their time with Bayern, aged 34 respectively, meaning the Bavarian outfit are in the market for a replacement.

Bayern have also been linked with a big-money move for Arsenal and Spurs target Malcom as an alternative.
