This match was always going to be a test for Arsenal but few expected it to be more than a chance to show professionalism and secure their progression.

The Gunners took a 3-0 lead into the match but that was quickly chipped away after a woeful opening half-hour at the Emirates.

Arsenal were mere observers as Östersunds FK scored two quickfire goals from Hosam Aiseh and Ken Sema just inside the 25-minute mark.

Arsene Wenger must have given his team a real team talk at half-time as they made an immediate impact after the break. A simple cross down the right went straight to Sead Kolasinac at the back post who made it 1-2.

Enough was enough for Arsene Wenger at half-time as he brought on Granit Xhaka for the unimpressive Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

It seemed to work immediately as Sead Kolasinac picked up the ball at the back post to make it 1-2 which is how it ended.
