Man Utd fans react to Lukaku's performance vs Chelsea

Manchester United fans were thoroughly pleased with Romelu Lukaku’s performance vs Chelsea in the Premier League at Old Trafford.

The London club managed to open the scoring but it was the Belgian who scored first for his home side to send both teams into the break with a 1-1 draw.

Lukaku has been heavily criticised all season for being unable to take big chances during big games but he managed to dispel the myth by scoring against the Blues.

The powerful striker proved just what he’s all about with some brilliant hold-up play before managing to get into the box himself and scoring.

For all his weaknesses, if there was ever a goal that sums up Romelu as a striker than it was that particular goal that supporters loved to witness.

As always Romelu Lukaku still has plenty to prove at United but he’s given fans plenty to shout about in his first season at the club.

Over 20 goals scored across all competitions is a pretty decent haul for the former Everton man and he has the advantage of it still being February.

Plenty of time left for him to finish the season with 30 or more goals which is a figure that no neutral could ever criticise.

At his age as well he’s got plenty of time to continue improving as he’s yet to reach his peak but it’s likely he’ll do so with the Red Devils.

It’s clear from his time at Old Trafford so far that Lukaku is the best striker and finisher at the club with his competitors far behind.
