Manchester United fans couldn’t hide their delight with Jesse Lingard if they tried after his performance vs Chelsea in the Premier League.
The Englishman scored the winner in the club’s 2-1 defeat of the Blues and he did it in front of his own fans at Old Trafford.
United fell behind thanks to a Willian effort but Romelu Lukaku helped the club equalise so that both teams headed into the break with the result in the balance.
Lingard though was determined to come off the bench in the second half and turn the tide for the better for his team, scoring just 11 minutes after coming onto the pitch.
The academy product has made it a bit of a habit scoring big goals in big games and supporters were ecstatic that he produced it once more.
Scott Mctominay bossed the midfield defensively and sent Eden Hazard to the bench whilst Jose Mourinho sends on Jesse Lingard to score the winner.

A loss against the London club would’ve left the Red Devils in a poor position before their crucial, upcoming clash vs Liverpool.
A draw would’ve been an equally poor result with only a win being necessary given how the teams behind Jose Mourinho’s men are breathing down his neck.
Thankfully Manchester United came from behind and it was the Portuguese manager’s attacking substitution that helped them turn the game around.
Jesse Lingard has recently started to be left out of the starting XI after his purple patch of form began to fizzle out.
The versatile attacker though decided to prove that he still has fight in him by coming off the bench and scoring the winner in such a timely manner.
