Former Arsenal man, Oguzhan Ozyakup is reportedly keen to return to the club when his Besiktas contract expires in the summer (via Sport Witness).
Oguzhan Ozyakup may not be a household name in England but he is currently a crucial part of the title-winning Besiktas team in Turkey.
The 25-year-old has won two Super Lig titles with his current club after leaving Arsenal back in 2012.
Ozyakup has been linked with a return to Arsenal in the past but now, reports suggest that the 25-year-old is personally keen to return to the Emirates when his current contract expires in the summer.
He is a technically gifted central midfield player capable of controlling possession and moving further up the field.
Ozyakup wouldn’t be the first player to return to the club after leaving with the likes of Mathieu Flamini, Thierry Henry and Jens Lehmann all doing so in the last decade.
Oguzhan Ozyakup is an impressive player It’s doubtful whether he is the type of midfielder Arsenal need right now. He is a little too offensive-minded to play alongside Aaron Ramsey or Jack Wilshere which is perhaps why these reports don’t make sense.
