Edin Dzeko is said to be unhappy about the idea of moving to Chelsea this month after he recently purchased an expensive property in Rome.
The London Evening Standard report that striker is looking for reassurances over the amount of game time he’ll get with the Premier League champions should a deal go through.
Chelsea are looking to complete a double deal for both Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri, who has fallen out of favour at the Giallorossi.
Emerson is reportedly due to travel to London in the coming deals to undergo a medical but Dzeko needs further convincing.
Dzeko is said to be worried about being a back up to Alvaro Morata, who is currently leading the line for Chelsea.
The former Manchester City would also be cup-tied for the Champions League.
Chelsea are willing to offer a fee in the region of £44 million for both players, but the Italian outfit are looking for a deal closer to a total of £58 million, including add-ons.
