Chelsea look set to complete the signing of Everton midfielder Ross Barkley for £15 million.

The player is due to have his medical on Friday and all being well, should be a Chelsea player before the weekend kicks off.

Barkley was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge throughout the summer but now finally looks set to join the current Premier League champions.

After missing out in the summer, Chelsea wasted no time in making their move in the new year and there are plenty of reasons why this is a great deal for the Premier League champions.
