Manchester United fans react to signing of Alexis Sanchez

Manchester United fans were thrilled to see the club confirm the signing of Alexis Sanchez on a four-and-a-half year deal on Monday evening.

Supporters of the Reds were delighted to see a player of Sanchez’s quality sign, and hailed the club and Jose Mourinho for bringing him to Old Trafford.

Some United fans commented on the story that Sanchez spoke to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry before completing his move to the club, with the Chilean writing on Instagram that he left the Gunners to be competitive in the same way that Henry did back in 2006.

So Henry, the Arsenal Legend, pretty much advised Sanchez to make the move?

Arsenal fans, meanwhile, weren’t happy to see their best player join United for the second time in the last decade after Robin van Persie’s glorious £24m move in 2012.

The Dutchman won the title for the Reds in that campaign, United fans will be hoping Sanchez can do the same next year, but these Arsenal fans won’t.
