It’s a big match at the Emirates. Arsenal welcome Chelsea to North London for a match which will determine which side takes on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final next month.
The Gunners haven’t had much success in this competition in the past but Arsene Wenger will be hoping that changes.
Here’s how we think Arsenal will line up:
GK) David Ospina
David Ospina has been Arsenal’s cup keeper this season and we see no reason why that will change.
RB) Hector Bellerin
Arsenal don’t play another match for six days so we can expect a strong lineup. Hector Bellerin will play.
RCB) Shkodran Mustafi
He’ll start.
LCB) Laurent Koscielny
Laurent Koscielny will start and captain the team.
LB) Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Nacho Monreal should miss this match and Wenger seems to prefer Ainsley Maitland-Niles to Sead Kolasinac lately.
RCM) Granit Xhaka
He’ll start.
LCM) Mohamed Elneny
We think Arsene Wenger will use a 4-2-3-1 formation which would give Mohamed Elneny a place in the starting lineup.
RAM) Alex Iwobi
Alex Iwobi should play.
CAM) Jack Wilshere
He’ll start.
LAM) Mesut Ozil
Mesut Ozil will undoubtedly play.
ST) Alexandre Lacazette
The Frenchman will lead the line for Arsenal and hopefully be spurred on by his drought-ending goal on the weekend.
