Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini is reportedly not interested in staying at the club any longer than his current contract permits him to.
The Belgian international who is currently injured has decided not to remain at Old Trafford once his contract expires at the end of the current season.
Manager Jose Mourinho has already expressed his wishes to keep Fellaini if possible but it appears as though the player is not keen to repay the faith.
The tenacious midfielder has had his fair share of criticism since arriving at the club and may be that he’s finally sick of the lack of support.
Most fans expected Mourinho to move the player on in his first season in charge but the Portuguese manager has found a spot for Marouane in his plans and rates the player’s determination and resilience.
According to The Express, the former Everton man has no intentions of remaining any further than his contract and has already begun looking for a new club.
There have been countless rumours of Turkish and Chinese sides interested in Marouane Fellaini and perhaps he sees a move to either of those leagues possible.
With the World Cup on the horizon, the powerful midfielder may be keen to get as much game time as possible as to not lose out on a spot with the Belgian international team.
Despite Jose having a soft spot for Fellaini, he hasn’t played the United man frequently, particularly since Nemanja Matic’s arrival.
It’s become clear his personal preference for the Red Devils midfield is Matic and Paul Pogba and it may be that Marouane is done playing second fiddle.
