Manchester United fans were furious with their players after going 2-0 down at half time to Burnley in the Premier League.
The Red Devils were at home for Boxing Day but failed to put up any kind of fight in the first half of the match.
Jose Mourinho’s men seemed to still be licking their wounds after their late 2-2 draw with Leicester City in the last fixture.
With no one particular player performing poorly, almost every United player walked off the pitch with their heads hanging in shame.
Perhaps only French star Paul Pogba was the one who seemed to put in any type of effort into the match but supporters could not think anything but negative thoughts after being outfoxed by the away side.
Ibra way off the pace again. Looks to have come back about 3 months earlier than he should have. Donkey more than a lion

HT. Boos. United do not look like a David Moyes team, never mind a Jose Mourinho one. Starting the two 9s hasn't worked, the system is wrong, Rojo is a mess, Rashford shocking and Matic off the pace. #mufc

Players should be embarrassed! Let’s see if this team has the passion to get back into this. COME ON UNITED!!! #MUFC

The reality is Sir Alex Ferguson was a don whose arrogance, confidence, passion, belief, will and spirit coursed through the veins of every player he selected to go out onto the pitch. We are in the meh era and that hurts the most.

The Ibrahimovic and Lukaku partnership has started today and should also end today. #mufc

What I’d say is that halfway through his second season, I expect more from Mourinho. #MCFC outstanding but #MUFC so far behind it’s ridiculous. Team (not individuals) making mistakes you usually see in Mourinho’s third and final year before his departure.

Mourinho has often thrown his players under the bus after poor results but fans will surely be pointing fingers at him just as much as anyone else.
The Portuguese manager decided to field Zlatan Ibrahimovic in behind Romelu Lukaku and it ultimately proved to be a horrendous decision with the Swede being hooked at half time.
Having Ibrahimovic present in the squad is certainly a positive but the former PSG man is nowhere near ready to be starting matches and looks short of any type of match fitness.
The two players also couldn’t seem to combine well with each other and it appears unlikely that the pair will be able to partner up successfully.
Jesse Lingard has been in fine form of late and perhaps was unfairly dropped for Zlatan.
