Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is willing to sell winger Yannick Carrasco in January, with Chelsea keen on the Belgian’s services, according to AS, cited by the Mirror.
Carrasco has only managed to complete two games in La Liga this season, with both of them coming at the start of the campaign, and has reportedly had bust-ups with teammates and members of the coaching staff.
Chelsea will face competition for Carrasco’s signature, however, with fellow Premier League side Arsenal also interested in the Belgian as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his attacking options.
Simeone has already added to his wide options, with Spanish international Vitolo agreeing to join Atletico next month, making Carrasco surplus to requirements.
The 24-year-old has been a key figure in Simeone’s side over the past two years, and scored the equaliser in the 2016 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid, but looks set to leave Atletico in the upcoming window.
