Chelsea are one of the clubs who have been offered a chance to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January, according to a report from Darren Lewis of the Mirror.
The striker’s relationship with Borussia Dortmund has apparently broken down and as such, he is likely to be sold when the transfer window opens.
Despite his reported disciplinary issues, Aubameyang’s form in front of goal has not suffered as he has found the back of the next 17 times in 19 games so far this season.
However, Dortmund are willing to let him leave after a number of alleged incidents, such as the player taking part in an unauthorised video shoot or him taking an unauthorised trip to Milan.
Chelsea are reportedly in the market for a striker as Antonio Conte is keen to take some burden off of Alvaro Morata and Aubameyang certainly fits the bill in terms of the calibre of player the Blues would want.
Whether, having just dealt with Diego Costa, Chelsea are willing to deal with Aubameyang and the issues he brings off the field, remains to be seen.
