Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Avram Glazer to split their time between men’s and women’s Sunday games

The owners of Manchester United are reportedly set to divide attention between the men’s game against Arsenal and the women’s FA Cup final clash vs. Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.

Erik ten Hag’s stars will welcome Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal at Old Trafford in a high-stakes Premier League clash for both teams.

United will be heading into the match eager to get their European ambitions back on track while Arsenal will be aware that victory against the Red Devils ensures the title will be decided on the final day of the season.

Manchester City are currently leading the table with 85 points but Arsenal are only two points adrift. United have the opportunity to inflict the ultimate damage on Arsenal’s prospects of becoming Premier League champions by ensuring they take points away from them.

Sunday is even more significant for the club considering the women’s side will also be playing against Tottenham in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.

According to The Athletic, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the Glazers have made arrangements to ensure that both teams are represented in the respective venues.

The newspaper reports, “Manchester United are splitting their hierarchy today as the men’s team hosts Arsenal in a crucial Premier League match while the women’s side contests the FA Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium.”

“Minority investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe will be in attendance at Old Trafford as the men look to keep pace with Chelsea, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for continental qualification.”

“Co-owner Avram Glazer, meanwhile, will be in London as the women seek to lift the FA Cup for the first time in their history.”

Mark Critchley notes that United have confirmed there will also be several senior representatives from INEOS at Wembley.

It’s understood that Ratcliffe sent Marc Skinner and his stars a good luck message as they look to make club history.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports released a video of Ratcliffe and his right-hand man Sir Dave Brailsford at Old Trafford, hours before kick-off.
