Manchester United star Paul Pogba was the man who caught all the headlines and deservedly so after he helped the team reach the top of the table.

Normally the talented Frenchman’s name is trending for all the wrong reasons but this time fans were all praising him instead of complaining.

Pogba’s goal vs Burnley proved to be the all-important winner as United held on to secure all three points in the 1-0 victory.

The former Juventus man ran the show, seemingly covering every blade of grass on the pitch as he was equally impressive in either box.

It was a side of Pogba supporters have long wanted to see and they made sure he knew he was appreciated for what he did.

I think tonight was one, if not, the best performance that Paul Pogba has played in his Man United career if I’m honest. Thought he was superb all game. I’m glad he was the one who scored the decisive goal, because he deserved it.

Pogba has somewhat struggled since Bruno Fernandes arrived last January and many felt it meant the two were just not made to play in the same starting XI.

However, it was unfair to the former academy graduate who has suffered from a spell of injuries for the first time in his career.

Pogba also had to fight off a Covid-19 infection but seems to be getting back to his best halfway through the season now, at the perfect time.
