Fans' Player Ratings: subs steal the plaudits, fans disgusted with one player's performance

Manchester United fans on The United Peoples TV Discord server have been awarding their player ratings for the side’s 3-1 win against West Ham this evening. Here is a selection of some of their scores:

Dean Henderson 8 – Solid first half performance, great save in the second half to deny them from a direct free kick (posted by Vociferous Davey)

Aaron Wan-Bissaka 8 – A first half recovery from Bowen showed why Ole wanted him in the team. Sharp and concentrated all throughout the game (posted by WayneRooney1098)

Victor Lindelof 6 – Good performance overall. Was always alert when the West Ham front line was on the attack! (posted by JoeGosh)

Harry Maguire 6 – Played some good long balls but was not strong defensively (posted by Red Patron)

Alex Telles 7 -Got his first assist today with Greenwood’s goal. At fault for their goal for not tracking Soucek (posted by WayneRooney1098)

Scott McTominay 6 – Retained possession well enough (posted by MQ)

Paul Pogba 6.5 – I’m biased because he’s a superstar, again trying to dance tip tap, instead of keeping it simple. Adding the .5 because of the sublime goal (posted by Kisio86)

Mason Greenwood 8 – Can we even say Robin van Greenwood or Mason van Persie anymore? This is really something new! Mason Greenwood looking absolutely solid when going for goal. Great performance, and really helped us win that match! (posted by JoeGosh)

Donny van de Beek 7 – Wasn’t given much time to show his worth. Looked class in 1st half but was very unfair to sub him off at half time (posted by Red Patron)

Anthony Martial 2 – Balbuena was all over him and rightfully substituted even thought he was injured (posted by WayneRooney1098)

Edinson Cavani 5 – Nothing worth noting from Cavani apart from he was unlucky to be subbed! (posted by JoeGosh)

Substitutes

Marcus Rashford 9 – His runs up front made the passing job easy for Bruno and Mata. He just needs to be bit more clinical and he’ll score more goals (posted by Red Patron)

Bruno Fernandes Game changer. What a decision by Ole to sub him on straight away it completely changed the game and his performance also made us win that match! (posted by JoeGosh)

Juan Mata 7 – Links up well with Bruno, VERY involved in our 2nd half comeback (posted by MQ)

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 8 – Made subs early and changed the game. Learning from his mistake leaving Fred on last game (posted by Vociferous Davey).
