Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka has had his injury cleared up reportedly by Jonathan Shrager, who has given fans hope.
The young Englishman was substituted off the field during the clash with Istanbul Basaksehir, with Brandon Williams taking his place.
However, it wasn’t made obvious to supporters that Wan-Bissaka was injured as many thought he was just being rested as the job was more or less done.
It turns out the former Crystal Palace man was taken off for his own protection and there were concerns he could face a spell on the sidelines once that became clear.
On the other flank, Luke Shaw is already out with an injury and so fans would’ve worried that the club would be going through a crisis in the full-back positions.
I was told yesterday that Aaron Wan-Bissaka “should be fine” following the knock he sustained against Başakşehir. I imagine this means that he’ll be available for #MUFC at Southampton on Sunday

Given the upcoming congested fixture list, even if Wan-Bissaka is available, it may be wiser to allow him additional time to rest.
He already would have had time off from that Tuesday night to Sunday afternoon, which is when Manchester United take on Southampton, but it’d be even better in the long run if he can recover fully before being thrown in the deep end once more.
After all, Wan-Bissaka will be especially needed for the clash vs PSG given his heroics the last time the club played the French champions.
