Mikel Arteta’s next transfer window as Arsenal manager looks very likely to be the one that defines whether the Spaniard will be able to take the Gunners onwards and upwards – and it could be that £26 million will be spent on an attacker making waves in Belgium.

Arsenal are reportedly in amongst nine Premier League clubs vying for the signature of Emmanuel Dennis at Club Brugge – via a report in The Boot Room.
At 22, the Nigerian has made headlines more than once this season, with a brace against Real Madrid in the Champions League making clubs sit up and take notice of the attacker’s ability.
With nine goals in all competitions this season, Gunners fans may be wondering whether that’s a goal tally that warrants such a hefty £26m price-tag, but Club Brugge have played him on both wings at times during the season – when as a centre-forward Dennis has scored seven in 15.
The report names Everton and Newcastle as potential suitors for Emmanuel Dennis, as well as foreign clubs such as Borussia Dortmund and AS Monaco.
The Belgian league season is set to be declared finished with Club Brugge being awarded the title, so it could very well be that Emmanuel Dennis has played his last game for the club and whether it’s the Premier League, with Arsenal, or elsewhere, it would be hard to imagine the Nigerian still in Jupiler Pro League next season.
