If we make essential modifications to the Privacy Notice, you will be properly notified in advance, so that you can review changes before they become effective. In the big picture, sport is minor, but no doubt fans are hoping the season will be able to resume in a safe and healthy environment sooner rather than later, to see the conclusion to Premier League, European and domestic cup competitions.
However, if the season is given the ‘green light’ to restart in the summer clubs up and down the land will be facing a contractual issue, with a number of loan agreements and player contracts expiring before or on June 30th.
For Arsenal, this would include Pablo Mari (on-loan from Flamengo), Dani Ceballos (on-loan from Real Madrid), and unused goalkeeper Matt Macey.
Pablo Mari and Dani Ceballos both played the full-duration of Arsenal’s last Premier League game against West Ham, and the two would arguably be big omissions [should the season restart around June 30 or after] with 10 league games left to play, as well as an FA Cup tie with Sheffield United.
This potential contractual issue, should it arise, would affect a number of clubs, arguably hitting harder on some of Arsenal’s rivals, but a deal could yet be struck to emergency extend contracts and loan agreements to fulfil the remaining season.
It’s currently all guess-work and no one knows what will happen, and when / if the league can restart. Until then All Arsenal will keep updating you as regularly as possible on all the issues regarding the status of the league, and subsequent competitions restarting safely for fans, players and staff.
