Arsenal have joined Manchester United and Chelsea in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.
According to Spanish outlet El Chiringuito, as cited on the Metro, the Gunners are the latest club to make an offer to sign the 32-year-old.
Reports in France earlier this week claimed that both Chelsea and Man United were in the running to sign the striker, who looks poised to leave Paris at the end of his contract this summer.
El Chiringuito add that Atletico Madrid still lead the race to sign Cavani, with the La Liga side hopeful of a summer deal.

While a move to La Liga looks to be the most likely outcome at this stage, it would be great to see Cavani have the opportunity to prove himself in the Premier League.
His scoring record in France speaks for itself. As per transfermarkt, 18 goals in 21 league appearances last season is very impressive, while 28 goals in 32 league games during the 2017/18 campaign is as equally commendable.
Described by ESPN as ‘the perfect team player’, Cavani would be a great addition to any of Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United’s squads, providing depth, experience and goals.
His work-rate is impressive and with over 100 league goals in Serie A and Ligue 1, Cavani can be viewed as one of the best goalscorers that European football has seen in recent years.
